then off to Mudbrick Winery for a nice glass of wine in afternoon.
Looking increasingly wild and Waiheke I think I may have to smarten myself up a bit.
A good morning catch. Actually caught around 7 or 8 this morning but some were too small so went back. The whopper here is 70 cm. Just in case looks small in the picture!
Catch a bloody fish whilst not looking....the biggest mother that I have caught so far. My excellent knots and tight lines proved worthy of catching a big snapper for the dinner table.
Having a nice cuppa on the boat...and then...
nice.
Looking back into Oneroa - our house is somewhere up on the left...
and another for luck.
What can I say. The boat is worth every penny. And even better its paid for....!
Had day off to start Easter early. Out on boat at 830 until around 12. And what a morning. Coming out of Oneroa this morning makes all seem worth while. Just before Easter rush so pretty much on my own travelling up to my fishing spot.

back to my current favorite fishing spot.
Whilst out on boat I was dwarfed by New Zealands latest super yacht cruising by. Very very large and luxurious and can travel the worlds oceans on a whim!
Local penguins everywhere at moment
Lovely shot taken whilst fishing on north side of island near Spray Rock. Lovely.
Caught nice snapper then back home
Very sheltered little bay with space only for a few boats
Beauty of this boat is you can arrive right on beach with few worries...
Water is vert nice color down here and great fishing.
Sped down to Garden Cove on fab day. Just Jenny and I as had baby sitter.
