Always something to do in NZ - even in a cyclone....
this isn't me....
I couldn't resist a swim....
For Oneroa this was a big surf! Caused by Cyclone Wilma only being a couple of hundred kms away. No damage to us...a bit like a windy night in Salisbury for us. But lots of damage elsewhere. Including a house falling onto the beach....

My latest mode of transport - much better than a Porsche I think. Although I still want one of them again! and yes I am trying to look like James Bond - it makes me feel better.

another one for luck. With the sea biscuit visible....Amelie's escape pod should things go to shite.
Whilst my boat is bigger then some....the occasional one is bigger
Our little gin palace. It might not be the superyacht in the background but who cares. Anchored up in Oneroa bay (just down the hill from the house) so that Amelie could find her sea legs.

Introducing Amelie to boat. We anchored up in Oneroa so she could listen to the sites and sounds of things. So far so good. Everyone happy.
Very warm weather with a bit of rain here and there....just grow and grow...although not sure I need all these chillies!
Look at my bloody chillies! growing like mad in great summer in our herb / veg garden

We took a trip to Deadmans Bay on the other side of the island. The location of a bloody Mauri battle!
Speeding along the Hauraki Gulf just of Waiheke.Nothing seems to have dropped off and I seem to have all the passengers I started out with.
