Nice evening sky in the Fox Glacier area. In the pub drinking beer looking at this view. And actually quite warm for the South Island.

Poor Basil is confined to his sick bed. The beach is banned. Dodgy leg and over excercised by silly people that looked after him whilst we were away. He is mentally and physically shagged - know the feeling mate. I must need a holiday....

The Fox Glacier coming down from Mount Cook. See size of people for how big this thing is.

As a saddo helicopter buff couldn't resist flight up Mount Cook and Glaciers. Not terrified wife this time. Standing at the top of the Fox Glacier in blue skies and sushine. Pissing down the following day.

Mount Tasman from a jelly wopper. Note the nutter to the left of the peak near the top (very small dot) Couldn't fly too close in ase we put him off.

Down to Mount Cook and Tasman. Cook on right and Tasman on left. Around 12 thousand foot high. Staying in Misty Peaks hotels which in Faulty Towers tradition we named Dodgy Peaks, Crappy Peaks, Could be good peaks - and a variety of others.

In the Nelson Lakes. After a booking a dodgy bach and probably a lucky escape from a chainsaw wielding owner we quickly found this one. 150 dollars a night. Total isolation and by a river.
