Note stocking great fire place which is the work of genius and all operates at the touch of a remote control. Even a big telly...which every kiwi house simply has to have...
Garden moving along very well now thks to the mighty Mauri Brent...Grass growing at a rapid rate even though it is more or less Winter.
Bob comes through right on que.
View from the breakfast bar into the lounge. We have a sea view beyond these windows down to Oneroa and across to the Coromandal.
Well maybe not everything but really quite nice...
Taken from the office / third bedroom into the lounge area. Note big gap on wall were a picture is required! Might have to stuff Basil and mount on the wall...
Having had old houses in the UK we got fed up with cottage look and feel. Pictures and things still moving around bit the place is looking a bit more together now. Our new furniture finally arrived. Note the red womb chair which Jenny gets great comfort from!

The kitchen is done. We finally have some of of things all together in th same place for the first time in 16 months. From the previous photos you will see we have done quite a job on this area.
The house is slowly changing colour - he painters are quite relaxed, i.e slow and turn up on occasion. However they are very nice and doing a good job. The green is going!

Nice morning on Waiheke! from our new garden platform. Today was pouring with rain though so not quite like this.

out with old and gradually in with the new...if only someone would get on with it and not get tempted to go fishing on a nice day.
The smallest room in the house - the new en-suite and proving to be the most troublesome and expensive.
Bob like one of the new chairs I think....
Moving into the house - furtniture is delayed! bugger! Like being a bloody student again...
Unfortunately Winter is coming to Waiheke and the Vines are starting to turn. However makes for a nice photo.
