Back to Waiheke - not so bad. And some great weather. Temperature up by about 16 degrees on Queenstown.
Vineyard in Wanaka called Rippon producing some lovely Riesling and Pinot Noir wines. A big music festival is held down here every other year which we will be attending I think.
Sunset in Wanaka and near the end of our holiday. Not too many more photos! Wanaka is a very nice mini ski town that is attracting many British people to go and live there. Bugger all jobs but its all about lifestyle...!
Jenny relaxing after a hard days adrenalin...
Driving up to Cardrona was quite an experience. Long and winding road to the top and the ski field. Not helped by the fact that we had a Nissan Sunny and no snow chains. Being overaken at a rapid rate by hugh Kiwi V8 4*4 s....global warming? what global warming. Once again Jenny in state of terror...but all worth it!
The Cardrona ski field just outside Wanaka. What a surprise fantastic views across to Quuenstown and the lake I can't remember the name of.
Skiing this time rather than Snowboarding and a little more successful. Hurt less.
Fast flowing river in the grounds of Riverrun. A farm of over 500 acres.
Our view from the Riverrun Lodge in Wanaka where we stayed for 4 nights.
Even better - after landing Jenny gets to go to the NZ Fighter Pilot Museum. Wanaka is a bit of a mecca for classic aeroplanes.

See..looks very safe.
Flying around the peak of Mount Aspiring at 10000 ft. A bit windy on the way home. However pilot did very nice medium turn around the peak to please me and further send Jenny into a state of terror.
Only a little drop. We''l be fine....
Tired seals after night fishing. Out on the windy rocks to avoid sand flys.
Start of the cruise around Milford Sound. Sunny, Raining, Cloudy and Clear all at the same time.
