Bit choppy today whilst several fish cut through my line and got away! these must have been big fish.
On a slightly choppy sea today the Spirit of New Zealand ship was hanging about.
and relax in the tub on a lovely moon lit night.
And very popular with the useless crew of Waikare Road. Nothing like Snapper to get them all going.
Managed to catch a nice size snapper on my second outing with soft bait rod. Cooked with chillies and herbs from the garden. Very nice to.

Another recent trip. And to Garden Cove. Where we are hoping to go for an early mornng trip soon and breakfast on the beach.
Quite hard to believe I am doing this sometimes! Pictures of the big fish coming up.
Lovely flat water got fishing. Testing out my new soft bait rod with some success. A nice fat snapper for dinner. A fantastic spot for just sitting as well as fishing.

The biggest boat I have yet seen in Auckland. Made the ferry which has to go right past it seem a little small. Good day for it.

A super yacht makes its way into Oneroa. About 50 metres. We reckoned it might be our old neighbour Sting...always has to go one better.

Hot and Steamy on Waiheke - it all has its effect on the old man that is now Basil. The beach is even proving a little too much for him...but even so quite a nice life lying here.
